Buying vs. Leasing

We know the car buying process can be stressful. That’s why we thought it would be a great idea to go more in depth with discussing the differences between buying and leasing and help you decide which option would be best for you.
When it comes to buying, it is obviously considered to be your own, where you are allowed to keep the vehicle as long as you would like.
Leasing a vehicle is a little different. You get to use it but then must return it at the end of the scheduled lease date. In other words, you do not own the vehicle yet, but can decide later if you would like to buy it or not.
There’s so much more that comes into play with buying and leasing. So if you would like to learn more,

1. Oxygen sensor failing
2. Ignition coil problems
3. Spark plugs and spark plug wires
4. Mass airflow sensor malfunctions
5. Faulty vacuum hose or evaporative emission control system

Acura Debuts New Spots Custom-Made for Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

Acura in partnership with comedian Jerry Seinfeld and director Barry Sonnenfeld has created a new series of comedic commercials that will debut on Season 3 of Seinfeld's original and Emmy-nominated web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. The eight spots are written and stylized in a retro 1960s style as a spoof of old-time advertising. They are a new element in Acura's exclusive sponsorship of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, a show where Seinfeld picks up other famous comedians in vintage automobiles and takes them out for coffee and funny, intimate conversations. The spots will debut as Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Season 3 premieres on the web on January 2, 2014.

Seinfeld starred on camera in Acura's 2012 Super Bowl commercial, but in this new arrangement his role was behind the camera, as writer and creative collaborator. With Sonnenfeld and Acura's ad agency Mullen, the team has created a campaign that shows Acura's sense of humor, while touting the many luxury features of new models, including the 2014 MDX three-row luxury SUV and RLX performance sedan.  In one spot called Picnic, a family of five packs "90 cubic feet of potato salad" into the cargo area of the 2014 MDX.  The dad character boasts – "Man that Acura's spacious trunk seems about made for potato salad."  In another called Astro, a group of four astronauts drive together in the MDX to their lift-off and back home after their return to Earth. There's enough cargo room in the back of the MDX to store all of their space rocks and an alien figure they brought back from the trip. The voice-over on the spot says the MDX is the SUV for "when space isn't even enough space." In a spot called Love, a happy young couple is seen floating in the clouds while driving the RLX, which "makes you fall in love like you're floating on balloons."  The voice-over says the RLX is "Impressive, aggressive and has a cloud-like ride."

"My idea for 'Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee' was to show this certain aspect of the stand-up comedy world in a way that comedy fans would enjoy experiencing as if they were there," said Jerry Seinfeld. "There is absolutely no doubt that without Acura's support I would not have been able to continue beyond the initial experiment. And now Acura has enabled me to extend the concept by creating ads that fit the comedy tone of the show. I can't think of a similar situation ever occurring anywhere and I am enormously grateful to Mike Accavitti for his vision and confidence in us. This could not be more fun."

"Jerry is a comedic genius. His creativity and dedication to excellence made these new spots the gems that they are," said Mike Accavitti, Senior Vice President, American Honda Motor, Co. "We seek to continually innovate our marketing at Acura. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and these fun ads perfectly align to our independent thinking, car enthusiast target customers".

Acura NSX Supercar Concept to Debut in Virtual World Of Gran Turismo®6 Game

The highly anticipated Acura NSX, in concept form, will fire up its twin-turbocharged engine and innovative new three-motor, torque vectoring Sport Hybrid powertrain in Gran Turismo®6 (GT6), which releases worldwide today. The 'real driving simulator' available exclusively for the PlayStation®3 system gives sports car enthusiasts their first opportunity to get behind the wheel of the next generation Acura NSX Concept.

"Whether in the virtual world of Gran Turismo today, or on real-world roads and racing circuits less than two years from now, the Acura NSX will be an incredibly innovative and thrilling ride that delivers something entirely new to the world of super sports cars," said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of Auto Operations at American Honda Motor, Co., Inc. "The wait is over for NSX fans eager to get behind the wheel of the next Acura supercar, and they can rest assured the actual production car will be even more amazing than the in-game concept version."

Targeting next-generation supercar dynamic capabilities with advanced environmental performance, the Acura NSX will be powered by a mid-mounted, direct-injected and twin-turbocharged V-6 engine mated to Acura's Sport Hybrid SH-AWD® (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) system.

Acura's Sport Hybrid SH-AWD® is an all-new, three-motor high-performance hybrid system that combines torque vectoring all-wheel drive with advanced hybrid efficiency through the use of three electric motors – one motor integrated with the V-6 engine and its all-new dual-clutch transmission (DCT) driving the rear wheels, and two high-output electric motors driving the front wheels. The system enables instant delivery of negative or positive torque during cornering to achieve a new level of driving performance unparalleled by current AWD systems. Acura defines this unique customer benefit of it's luxury performance vehicles as "the synergy between man and machine."

Global development of the NSX is being led by engineers at Honda R&D Americas, Inc., in Raymond, Ohio. The next-generation Acura sports car will be produced using domestic and globally sourced parts at the state-of-the-art Performance Manufacturing Center, now under construction in Marysville, Ohio.  The all-new NSX is expected to go on sale in 2015.

Keep an eye on Mac Churchill Acura and our Facebook and Twitter for more updates on the NSX's availability as it approaches arrival.
